Hey guys just got back from sydney from getting my VL its got 375,XXX on the clock, No transmission fluid in it and it dont go..lol

It went when i picked it up and no it wont start, When i got there it started fine and drove onto the trailer but not i had to roll it off the trailer cause it wouldnt start

The computer is flashing a fault that is the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), So i sopose i need a new one, Anyone an idea how much???

I havent got any pics at the moment but will wash it and clean it out tomorrow, Its in a farking mess..lol, There rust in the roof but its only surface rust but the whole cow panel is rooted so im going to rarespares and getting a new one asap

tps for an auto was $150+gst trade price from coventrys last i checked. brand spanker though.

i ended up taking mine apart by drilling out the brass rivets on it and cleaning the crap out with contact cleaner, then bending the little prongs on the potentiometer a little bit so they just contacted on a different part of the printed circuit. (if that makes any sense to you)

otherwise try a wreckers. they are on r31 and r32 skylines as well. best to take your old one with you to compare unless you know exactly what your looking for.

I got it in the back yard and thats as far as i got it turned dark quick..lol. But im having a sicky tomorrow (well over due for 1) and going to clean it out. will get pics then promise

Got it running guys i dont know what i did but it starts everytime on and idles like a champ..lol

I when and bought some transmission fluid so now just need to change the engine oil and diff aswell

About that gym set i think them weights are 5kg maybe 7kg but im not sure

I got some good progess done today, Im halfway throught pumping the passanger rear guard and i got 1 coat of paint on the passanger side and the whole front of the car




And a little lowering job to see if she rubs haha
