hey last wednesday i brought this vl shes a 89 berlina and shes extremly tidy everything is factory and shes rb30e 5 speed manuel and soon to be rb30det heres a few pics from when i got her










the pics arnt that great but let us know wat ya think?

Your wrong ive seen pics of a vl with 89 stamped on the compliance plate. And also pics of a 85 plated vl.. Pics are somewhere on calaisturbo

The VL's were made for a while after the VN's started production. I've seen 11/85 build sheet for a VL. (build date 29/11/1985 - S/N J199657)

The November 85 VL is/was a production car before it was wrecked The broadcast sheet was for a production car. This info came from a very reliable fella from Sydney.

It was not a mule or pre production test car.

Will be very interesting to see the VIN on the "89" VL. I will be able to tell if it's an error stamping on the built plate - Note - the NZ cars dont get the Aussie compliance plate.

VL's do not have a vin either just to put my 2c in.. So i'd be taking stelthy's side on this argument because vin numbers came out in 1989 and thats why there is not a vl in existance with a vin number.. they have chassis numbers which are completely different.
