just bought myself some chrome strut caps and chrome dome nuts for strut tower will put up pics when I get them
judging by the looks of the inlet manifold im guessing this use to be turbo?
yeah i think so too man.. as the plenum is set up to recieve the IC piping and not swinging over the cover
Thanks for the comments, the car has not been turboed yet I bought the manifold because i was going to turbo it. But now Im not however i still put the manifold on because i had it here and thought i might as well use it and I also think it looks a lot better than standard.
i would cover that hole where the airbox used to be bruz as it is a defect jacks may not like it
yeah I will be welding in a new peice and same as on the other side because when I cut out the battery tray there was some rust under it.
very nice and the forward facing plenum is difrent on a non turbo vl i like it its unique
just some more pictures of my engine bay with my new strut caps
i got the same caps how much did you pay?
Good to see someone else is putting some effort into their engine bay appearance Top stuff mate
bow down: my strut caps cost $80
vsl67: thanks
strut caps look sweet
nice front seats
tobyp: thanks yeah i think that the struts caps make the engine bay look alot better and the front seats are nice but i need to finish the rest i want to get monaro rear seat
Lost my pictures so here is one of the car and the interior again

I have now got the car running good I have also fixed up the rust from where the battery tray was and welded in a new piece where the big hole was in the guard the only thing now to do is put the battery in the boot and wire it up then i can start spending some money on other things for the car
I have now finished wiring up the battery in the boot and have bought myself a walkinshaw scoop and by next week I should have some new rims on my car when I get the walkinshaw scoop and rims on I will take a picture and I will put a picture up of how the engine bay looks now
This is how the car looks at the moment
