Here is my RB25DET Calais. let me know what you think..
Make: Holden
Model: VL Commodore
Colour: Blue/silver
Engine: RB25DET
Gearbox: RB20DET
Diff: 2 pinion 25 spline LSD, 3.9:1 ratio
Exhaust: Turbo back 3" with 4" dump tip
Suspension: Stock
Brakes: Stock discs all round
Power: ?? will let you know when the computer is in and tuned
Only mods so far are the engine and gearbox swap, lsd diff centre and racing seats. uless you count the momo gear knob and racing steering wheel.
Future mods are full sound system with in-dash DVD, custom trim, upgrade computer in two weeks, intake plenum, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, brakes (my next upgrade), suspension and custom boot enclosure.

yea its not bad. gotta wait till i get a few things fixed up then ill be able to tell ya exactly how she goes. and ill get all the details and put them up for ya.

why go smaller?? keep the rb30 bottom end and put on a 25 or 26 head make it an rb25/30 or rb26/30 rb30DET
i bought it with that motor in it. its a bit of a shame coz i just fount this mint as factory manual turbo calais. completely stock apart from big front mount and stereo. only 500 bucks more too
