Looks nice mate,
Whoa look at the parcel shelf holes :P you gonna weld those up or throw some 6x9's in there (by the looks of the size lol)
Xstatic64... the rear shelf that came out of the calais had pioneer 6x9s.. so thats goin back in.. its made out of mdf not the factory one
nothing at all nath... been raining for over a week now n i just wanna paint the rear window section so i can put the window back in.. so hoping on the weekend its fine to do it.... if i had a shed it would be nearly finished by now
know the feeling man im on sunny coast,,,, not so sunny.. we got another week of it man :P
yeah im on the sunny coast, not raining atm but prob will be tomorrow
im hoping its fine on the weekend so i can get this done to it.... front screen is comin out when the rear is in
little update... finally got some paint on the rear window section this morning... hopefully if its fine tomorrow i will get the window back in
ok a small update..... finally got the back window in last week.. also got the parcel shelf in with speakers n wired up... lifted the rear end so its legal height for the rwc... gave the boot, roof n the drivers side a buff.. its actually white again not cream lol..
and last night we fitted a new exhaust to it... old system was way to loud for me..
Looks good, very clean
little update.... decided to finally have a crack at fitting my autometer gauges in the "sunglass" holder.... im happy with the end result... just need to get some decent pics with the gauges lit up...
few pics of what i did today..
Nice man I like it....However your lucky you aint in vic. As that parcel shelf wouldn't pass a roadworthy here....Only say that as it is cut and is classed as structual...
Good luck with it man. Coming along nicely
looking good man...
ahh u got water gauge in Fahrenheit.
i wan a good 1 in Celcius
hey nath... yeah i now but i got it given to me and it was brand new so i can complain about it lol
all good man, does not take to long to learn the conversion
hey nath thanx heaps for that conversion chart... makes it alot easier to work out.... btw u might have a job helpin me with the turbo conversion one day haha.. i only parts i need are a cooler, o-ring type fuel rail to suit the 550cc inj's and the water outlet off the heater hose to turbo....
put the 18s back on too
yeah looks the goods man with the 18s.
U can print that chart and stick it to your window :P
Fkn clean calais. Just the water return from turbo is plumbed into the heater hose over on the drivers side, need a T piece brass fitting to suit. cant remember what pipe from firewall think it was furthest to the left(looking into bay) closest to booster
Can i have your sunroof :P
hey mate... it looks clean in the pics but it isnt.... i buffed the drivers side, roof n boot at xmas and it got rid of the cream look to the paint... still havent done the passenger side yet.... i gotta look into that water return hose asap tho... i want everything before i start the conversion...
sunroof is a goer mate.. and it doesnt leak water either
yeah i rekon they look mad on the L's
Ha usually pics dont do justice,, but its in favour for u this time yeah
liking this, definitely going to follow..
