woke up at 3 this morning with a killa head ache, felt down all day too
but i spent 4 hours layed under a bmw building that up so that was good

i think you need to paint more stuff blue lol.

its all the custom touches that really make the car, thinking i might put some pin strips on the tip too,

exhaust will happen one day, getting a price tommorow from a place near work, did a cat back on the vs monday as it snapped in half lol

well few things are planned or getting arranged

need to work out some time off work next week or the one after so i can get my car towed too few places.

getting a redback cat back done for $350
new 3" mild steel with normal muffler and resinator so that it will be quite
i dont want it over the legal DB so choose this set up,
thinking about a black 4" dumper tip too

went to hi tech dyno and they said they would give the car a shot, just give them a few days notice ahead and they will be ready for it

so time too work a schedual out again

Thats sweet as about the exhaust, should be enough to let it breathe, but not drawing (too much) attention to it at the same time.. Def go for the dumper tip, they look noice...

So it'l be getting the exhaust done before going off to Hi Tech? ***fingers crossed*** They sort it out and can 'tune'?? it. (Can you tune them? lol I spose you would be able to change some things with it? yehh?? I'm not up to speed with these gurls.. lol)

Get the 'diary' out, lol, the sooner the better!! - but I don't need to tell you that ey, lol

its not really a tune as your are not able to adjust the fuel maps, spark etc on the computer but if you upgrade it with nistune then you can

more then likly just setting all the timing and mixtures to make sure the car is safe with a good AF ratio


well i picked up a reo today too when i went to the wreakers for a few clips, so thats a bonus

Hmm... Shiney woud look good, sort of match the intercooler piping and stuff - but you wouldn't be looking at them all at the same time..?

And the Black would sort of stealth it up a little, kind of not draw as much attention to the tip,

there going to get the car running then, check everything over
chuck it on the dyno, set the timing check the AF ratio is safe
then a power run

well on 10psi most hit the 190rwkw mark
im starting at stock 6-7psi, guess 130-40rwkw ish

Like you said but, it doesnt matter how much 'power' it has, its more so how fun it is to drive, how it looks and how it sounds!!

That'd be a decent amount, anywhere around there would make it a good fun car to drive.. Weighing next to nothing, (compaired to the newer overweight gurls) That in itself should be fun to keep it driving sideways up the road!! lol,. jst jokes - I don't think you'd want to do much of that after this long of a build..?

On my new motor, stock internals, 3" turbo back, hiflow t03, rajab inlet and cooler, 6-7psi I got 130rwkw apparently.

It's loosened up a heap now and the old clutch didn't like it much, so I'm due to go back. But I was hoping 10-15psi and get myself up towards 200rwkw as well, push the limits of the standard injectors I guess.

I'm guessing that's your plan as well?

Ahh so it is high comp, I couldn't remember and was too slack to re-read threads, you should get some good power out of it, my maroon one was great fun to drive when it was high comp/turbo, kind of miss how pokey they are.

not all together yet, working towards it though
still havnt painted the reo yet but will do that soon,

sunday morning plans are to repaint the front bar, paint door moulds, guard moulds, both rear quater mould end caps and fuel flap

want to get as much of it together before it heads down too hitech

it will also be getting new shoes too
will be putting on my dads HSV avelanche rims which were on the ute (now on vs)
there is new tyres on them so it will be safer on the dyno then the tyres on my J series rims,
there a little low on thread (still legal) but almost 3 years old

got a slightest run on one end, i said dont worry polish it out but Jon was that pissed about it he said he is doing it again
so he is doing the RH end and a the centre part again as there was a small part he didnt cover the best in the vents


yer im happy with the rear so far, always wanted to finish it more so then the front.
just need the exhaust fixed and a clip i cant find for the right hand 1/4 mould

then i can get a nicer shot, notice i didnt take a pic of the right quater side? because its got no mould on lol

cant find as in, i had a half assed look through my box and bags of clips etc
didnt look anywhere else around the house or in my room

its only a run in the clear
the PPG clear doesnt hold too Debeer colour that well, slightest mislaps in watching your work and you will cause a run

So far I have saved like $500 towards paint for the VY!! Yeww.. Takes time to save when theres none coming in! Still not sure if i'm going to attempt to do it myself, or get a hand doing it...
