cheers all, yah i must admit much better looking, ive had a few steers at by some people and two people commnted on my car last nite, one was a random at some trafic lights in a vn

nah hasnt rubbed yet, but i havnt had three people in the back as of yet so cant say about full load, i will still have a adjustable panhard on the list to come, just to make the diff line up and not distory my uni joints quicker

if your talking about the horsie power type clint it aint going to be happening, well for a for a while,
brakes are next - rear disc, and then hub adaptors for vt front brakes
then respray - one colour, thought about it and im not going astroid silver bottom
and then 304i (hopefully) and of coure 5 speed cant stand autos any more.

started on the new intake pipe today, welded it together and then grinded it smooth,
so much happier that i did the welding and cleaning up of the weld. totaly happy i didnt fork some money out to get it welded up when i gained tremdus satifaction in doing it my self.

just need to get a adaptor so i can connect a pipe into the intake pipe, so i need to drill and weld that in and it will be of to get powder coated,
have to buy some silicone conectors to but thats nothing

The pipe looks shmick as bro well done. I had a problem with my pipe interfering with the throttle cable and pushing it up when the motor flex's on its mounts under load but a cable tie fixes that no probs. What colour is it gonna be? and what diameter is the pipe?

pipes 2.5inch mild steel exhaust, 45 degree mandreal bend then i cut a angle on a shorter piece and welded it up,

getting it powder coated in a blue colour, simular to impulse blue as i am hoping to paint my car honda accrod euro blue soon. got my self a nice fitting last night for 9 bucks just need to find a nut so i can weld that in for the pipe to conect to.

going to be painting my rocker cover blue too and some other parts, not going over board on motor work as im going to drop it for a 304i 5spd

if you mean tip then that is going to happen soon, going 2.5 or 3 inch dumper powder coated in matt or possibly gloss black

the rest of the exhaust is the biggest needed for a NA vl and trust me it sounds very nice, can hear me driving off at normal pace for 100+ meters

when i can get my hands on a vid camera i will get a video of me driving off or past so you can hear what sound im making, youll change your opinion on it being to small once you hear it

next little project ive got in mind after i finish the intake would be some rear head rest, going to be getting some series 1 front head rest and fit them into the back some how, just got to fabercate some brakets up and should be set

finally picked up the intake and today to sus some thing out and decided i really need to get this done so i can start on the head rest.

the conector that i bought which cost 9 bucks turned out to be abit of a waste, as it is brass i cant weld it straight on but i also cant find a nut to fit it as the sizes only go up to M20 and i need M21

so tommorow my old man is getting a someone at his work to machine up a adaptor on a lathe and weld it in,

cant wait almost done just need to get this done then powder coated and we should (fingers crossed) be sweet

picked up the intake pipe just then. its nice 'n' shiney now and blueish

now just need the silicone conectors and a oil breather filter
