well been a while since ive updated......... well reason why as its been sat at home doing nothing ha
decided to be safe and not drive it,
drove it this morning too work but stopped at hi tech on the way down

looked over my money and im squeezing my budget, booked the car in for thursday too get tuned

well well well, no much once again but may aswell give that little insight from after the tune

drive much better now, no flat spot and the boost is up a little
on about 5.5psi and made 129.9rwkw
been driving as a daily now and its nice yo be back in it again for good

a little update on whats the hap

been driving the car every where, done two long country runs - Mannum and goolwa
it was nice on the freeways and smooth

finally managed to get a full tank of fuel in, took close too 20 minutes though
as once you fill over half way it will say its full and kick fuel out and slowly go down
so had all look at all the breathers and the all in the right order......

out of the full tank i got 550km. so not bad at all


for christmas my Girlfriend bought me some goodies
new kenwood cd player, with ipod, usb functions
and a Boost guage
all wired up nicely, gauge lights up blue when ignition is on and when you turn the lights on it will dim

yesterday was looking through insurance and agree value,
happy with shannons,
put it this way, insured for enough to let me buy a ve from a local holden dealer :P - all parts and mods covered plus excess only $850ish

the engien is leaking oil from somewhere also, so today im going to have a look and see what it can do

I'm not sure if you're a good influence, or a bad influence on me..?!
Got the VH off the lawn - FINALLY, (her sitting spot for the last two years or so) with the intentions of doing a V6 conversion to her. Although the engine bay isn't painted, is it?!

So now with no dash / heater / A/C / Or any thing else in the engine bay, I'm attempting to pull off something similar to what you have - If I get any where near what yours is i'll be more than happy!

So far only stripped it, knocked the unknown 'dent' out of the drivers inner guard and removed the battery box/holder - Which still needs to be welded up.

So looks like i'm in for some cutting/welding/bogging/sanding lol,


What did you do around the strut towers, where they meet the inner guards? I want to 'smooth' it out, but not sure if i'll have to weld it all the way around to avoid cracking..? What do you rekon?

well the car has been sat abandoned since last update
no rego or tyres so left it till after are holiday to the gold coast
this sunday we head but had a accidet last night................ tripped over playing basketball and broke my elbow
so this sucks major!!!!! not expected and was looking forward too qld with all the them parks
