battery tray, rusted though on front left corner but im going to be relocating battery to boot and removing.


bit of the rust under the front windscreen.


little blist of rust on the bottom of the right 1/4 panel.


left hand inside of the rear window and pacel shelf.


right hand inside of rear window and parcel shelf.


little rust patch on inside of the left rear door top near the 1/4 glass (on both rear doors).


1" master cylinder i got for $22 at 'u pull it'



a little something for the daily grampa style, free please take of the side of the road near my house.



hope that will keep you happy till next monday :P, also got the under the boot ruber seal to show but havnt removed it yet. so expect more rust there.

nah found them on the side of the road near mine with sign saying 'please take for free'. so i was totally unable to pass up the opertunaty, turned around and picked it up.
i just sat it on Lina for the pic

yah vidid blue, like i posted before on the picture if the civic. just so nice couldnt let it pass

and rust well more then yah think, took the carpet, roof lining out and pushed on the window and it liffted out on one side.
so pushed it completly out and had some nice rust

as you can see, two big holes on the left hand bottom side and one on the right hand bottom, there are two small holes on the top in the centre but not much.
when i orignally bought the car i put silicone up in the seal to stop it leaking and as i learned slicone does cause rust, so dont think it will be a good idea as you will be stuck looking simular to my problem.

when i find some time tommorow im going to start losening the motor up for removel, and if i get my hands on a engine crane ill more then likly take it out if time pervails

engine plan is on hold for the minute, just about done striping the car and am going to start on the panel work

Well it is Monday so the update is here

not much in progress, as been busy
but things i got done since last monday
-handles and locks out of the doors,
-chrome roof moulds
-1/4 glass outer trim
-front window out
-cleaned up rust area quickly
-drained coolant and radiator out
so really crap all has been done since last week,

some good news is that the rust is not as bad on the front compaired to the rear but i will have to take out the dash so some room is given for repairing the rust.
didnt really want to take it out but ive got to do it if im doing it right.

started cutting the window out and it cracked, so decided i may as well punch it a bit as it was already stuffed now
so much fun punching a window on your car but still so bad knowing that its costing you $200 later


Got rust???
Cleaned up the area around the rear window abit so taht i could have a better look at it and removed all the blissers of paint to revile more rust,

Bottom Left of rear window,

not as bad as the corners but still went fully though in three spots.
