g day guys
my names matt
i got a vl executive recently n got it with some pretty good specs
- tinted windows
- 2'1/2 inch exhaust
- group a taillights
- 235's on rear
- 2 12'' cadence 600W subwoofers in boot
- panasonic head unit
- alarm system with imobiliser and remote start

thats all and i am thinking for a respray to make it black
its currently white which is very common

i have a question to anyone, those grey sides on the door, are they able to come off? or would that just be a stupid thing to do
and if i got a respray, they would stay on and become the same colour?

anybody got any good hints?

also forgot to add in
its got a skyline gearbox. came with the car. i cant notice any differnence.

get some pic's mate, and the side moulds come off but doesnt look very good without them so leave them on... when car gets resprayed take them off spray then put em back on.

Yea if you are going to get it resprayed take off the lights and everything like that. Because its white if you leave the stuff like that on and just tape it if the light/plastic trim moves just a bit the white will stand out like something shocking!
You can take them off, I did it on my vk because i didn't like them and it looks good. I'll try and get some pics up for you.

What are group a tail lights like?

yer that sounds liek a good thing to do
the group A tail lights, well as i was told are clear on the blinkers, so its clear red clear. it looks alright but im gettin it tinted.
