My new VL 5LTR WAGON

hi all,
i have just bought a 5LTR wagon VL, it is a sick car, i dont have any regrets buying it at all except that the accelerator got stuck down on me and i pranged it lol, anyway it is all fixed now, just at the car dealers getting the carby reconditioned which is what caused it to stick down on me, i have just bought some 18" JET XHP chromies for it, they go on this week, the only other thing i have done so far is install a deck, I dont have any pictures of it yet but will have some hopefully this week when i get it back, if not next week, although i have a pic of my new wheels,
let me know what yas think, ill try get the rest of my pics up asap

XHP wheels rock! I got the XHP Sabers on my VN in 19" chrome, they're an awesome rim.

I've seen those rims around... and I LOVE them!! Looking at a set for my car, mind letting me know how much you paid for them (In pm or here or whatever) just trying to find the lowest price.
All up its a very nice VL, dont see many wagons around. I like!

i paid $2200 with maxis tyres, wheel allighnment and lock nuts all fitted, that was from bob jane tmarts mate

yeah i agree sweet ride buddy but it would look better without the rear wing. just my opinion but nice ride anyway

hi all,
i have been very slack but have finally got some new pics of my engine bay and interior, also since i have tinted my rear lights and put on lay by 2 new 12" clarion subs in box and an amp to suit, cant wait to get them all in!!!!!

cheers everyone, yeh i am definately looking at lowering it but i need to get the pros to have a look at it first and work out how to do it, one of my tyres is already scraping on big bumps,

I like the vl wagons and yours is definately a good looking one. Im with the other person who mentioned taking the wing off, but regardless of that once you have it lowered it would look amazing. Ill say they will have to roll your guards.

i think you need to give your engine a good clean but other than that it looks fat well done mate

yeh engine needs a clean and i want to try hide some of those lines away in there,

about the wing,,, i have had many different comments from people but myself i like it, i think it makes the wagz look old school but hey every1 has their own opinion, how ever when i get around to it i will take it off and see what it actually looks like,

i went to the place that sold me the mags and they told me to go to d&t exhaust and ask them about lowering it and rolling the guards, i hope i can dump her a fair bit but doubt ill be able to go very low,

hey man got told this the other day wen u lower her ur gonna get the scrappin on one side go to autobarn or supercheap or sumwhere n get an ajustable towbar n it makes ur diff reline in the centre to stop it from scrapin on one side one $50 too it aint a towing bar

you mean an adjustable panhard rod?
i hear they're around $90 + $15 installation. yeah it just centers your diff.

cheers anf ill look into it, but it is the front left tyre that scrapes so a panhard bar being on the rear at the diff would this still fix the problem in the front of my car or should i get a strut brace or something,
