Hi all, long time ay lol, ok after writing off the VN ( aka the Groupsman ), found this old girl for $700 lol so i snatched it up , 93 000 orginal ks ( and unfortunatly looked like the motor hadnt been servise since rolling off the showroom floor lol oil was black and glugy, spark plugs where factory items lol ) and now starts the new project , currently looking into prices for a 5ltr efi conversion ( im sick of nissan power and want a beefy V8 sound common out the rear hahaha ) so here she is

Engine Mods: K&N, CAI, generally got all the grease and oil off the motor so ya could count that as weight reductions ( haha you think im joking? the thinest dirty spot on the motor was 1/2cm thick! lol 5 x 5ltr bottle of degreaser later the engine shed 3kg of grease and crud lol )
Power: not alot lol
Exhaust: 2.5i cat back with hotdog
Gearbox: auto
Diff: stock
Brakes: upgraded VN V8 ribber calaipers, 290mm rotors
Suspension: stock
Wheels/Tyres: stock ( 15/6 inch chassers )
Interior: stock
Other Mods: hrmm none yet lol
Stereo: pioneer head unit with pioneer 6x9s
Cost: for me to know :P

brakes look crap because they come off the VN there only a month old lol



Engine was black when i got it, couldnt see the silver plenum or the rocker cover lol

bit of an update

- fixed the rust in the boot channel and front windscreen, now shes rust free

- full fuel system flush ( fuel filter was cloged lol )
- bleed the brakes and flushed again ( mmm heaps more braking power now )

thats about it so far lol been to sick at the moment to do anything substantial lol, thanks for the comments

bit of an update

( pics will tell the story lol but ill brief on it ) ****ed off the crappy upper and lower control arms and replaced them with nolathane heavy duty items ( as you can see the upper rear control arm is solid and the old one is pressed plate lol very weak ), couldnt get a decent pic of the lower rear control arms but there basicly the same

nice vl mate keep it up. what future mods u thinking apart from v8 id say to twin turbz. mmm v8 twin turbz give u more power to munch anything u like yummy.

haha proberly a Raptor charger after im done with the internal engine mods on the 8, other than that a custom mix body kit, slammed on its nuts, rollin on 19's ( deep dish ) , custom VN Calais or VT clubby interior just a to name a few

UPDATE!

lol got bored this arvo so i did this lol just for ****s and giggles, 2 tone rocker cover lol, the red is tail light tint spray which doesnt look to bad the sides are black engine enamal ( just some paint i had lying around lol )
