Yehhhh i was over them a long time ago when i realised how bad they make the car float around the road haha. My bro gets all his work done on his vs v6 ute out at sandgate. Hes spent around 7k on his motor, gearbox and running a haltech ecu.... was still slower then my wagon but haha.... well its gonna be faster then my vl turbo once he gets it supercharged this year. I just msgd him for the workshops name and ill let you know

*Paid for my intercooler kit today
*Resprayed the rocker cover in VL turbo wrinkle red today





Now fitted, still need to sand off the paint on top of "holden" when the paints cured. Next to do is polish plenum have already started on the first 2 runners

I spent this morning taking off N/A gear.... All smooth so far, no broken exhaust manifold studs or any bolts as of yet. Oil drain is fitted in the block. Tommorow i will fit turbo running gear and my intercooler should be here tomorrow as it was posted on wednesday.

Cheers fellas. Yeh mate it already has an alarm and imobilizor and soon to be gps bug. Just going to run 7psi for now on N/A ecu and injectors for the time being untill i get m vlt injectors tested.

My intercooler finally came today. The car is turbod now. Just need to put the afm in piping and then i can start it up (probably on thursday on my day off). And then its off to exhaust shop for 3" zorst and high flow cat and to put 2 manifold studs in what i cant get on ( i cant be ****ed taking off manifold and turbo again too much hasle)




Cant wait to get some pics of it outdoors when its all back together

what cooler kit is that mate ?? as for the airflow meter im planing on putting mine in the piping to but to get it running i just put it infront of the turbo. have a look at my thread was realy easy.

Its a monsta kit $500 off ebay. Yehhh its in the piping now. Started filling it up with coolant this arvo and it started pissing out of the banjo bolt from the water feed on the turbo. Not quite sure why. Will sus it out tomoz.

Got it towed today for them to finish it. There putting in my turbo ecu and injectors as well and putting it on the dyno to make sure its not leaning out. Should have it back next week sometime

It is currently making with a old 22 year old t3 with HEAPS of sharft play 138rwkw on 6psi with a full 22 year old N/A exhaust!!!



They put the turbo ecu on but it was running super lean so they went back to N/A ecu. They said it was detonating pretty bad so they lowered the timing and lowered the boost to 6psi. They say i can run a little more boost through it when i get my exhaust done....

Im gonna go check it out tomorrow but wont be able to pick it up untill maybe next week if not the week after as ive got **** all $$$$

nice man..... weird why pinging i have a cooler running 15degrees timing on 98 octane fuel and no knocking at all running a treat i would like to get it dyno'd 2 also running N/A ECU and Injectors...

Yeh mate just a heads up for all running n/a ecu and injectors. I went in yesterday to look at my car im pretty impressed with he job they've done . Theyve dont lots of modifying and cleaning up look completely different from when i had it lol . They showed me the dyno print out and its running lean up top. Its not detonating at all but its in "the danger zone" Ill show yous a pic of the print out when i pick up the car. Im going to skip the whole stock vlt ecu and injectors and go with aftermarket ecu and bigger injectors. So my vlt ecu and injectors will be for sale soon if anyones interested.

looking good, first thing i would do is piss off that standard frontpipe, and 3" exhaust.
i ran n/a ecu and turbo injectors with no issue for 10months or so maxed them out at 183rwkw
with a 3" exhaust, standard injectors and ecu add a fuel reg should push 200rwkw

Yep next to do is 3" zorst and highflow cat. Ive been quoted $800 fitted and then save for ecu and inectors and then bigger turbo and then stronger gearbox and then stronger dif and then stronger bottom end....mmmm my money pit. This cars gonna live in the garage for the rest of its life now. Only going to be driven a couple times a week...

Thought i might start new build since its turbod now. Still need to mod front bumper for it to go on properly. Split a power steer house today. t3 is ****ed blows so much smoke when its cold. Currently looking at t3 highflow or i might have the t3 rebuilt dunno yet. Pics are pretty shit i ****ing hate cameras. Car is pretty slow compared to my old wagon but its got more torque because its high comp. Dyno guys reckon ill get another 60rwhp when i get the exhaust done its pretty restricted. First thing to do it get the smokey turbo fixed so i can start driving it without someone calling the fire brigade on me haha

Yehhh its a ****, it clears up after about 5-10 minutes of driving but its still horrible. I alredy got turbo injectors im selling them as well... Looking to go aftermarket ecu and injectors once i have turbo and exhaust done

Just got quoted $1000 to rebuild my t3 or pull the turbo off and give it to them and they will do it for $700...So im rebuilding it myself following the guide on calaisturbo. Just bought the rebuild kit. What a ****ing headache i just wanna boooost with no god damn smoke!

Ill pull the **** apart on monday and begin stripping the turbo down ready for when the kit gets here

Lol **** yeh bro, dyno guys reckon its robbing a good 60rwhp. Its got no top end power. The wastegate isnt opening as it cant push anymore then 6psi out of the exhaust!!!

Spent the day pulling turbo off car. Just finished rebuilding it tonight and will bolt it all back on tomorrow and see how it goes. Hopefully no more smoke otherwise im gonna have to save for gt3540

Turbo on and minimal smoke. Mainly when coming to a stop or going down a hill... could be from oil still in cooler pipes i dunno. Dyno boys tell me its not going to last long as the turbos ****ed so ill see how it goes in the meen time im saving for ecu, injectors and gt3540

Finally got the car back yesterday after doing the head gasket.. Got a nice think steel gasket on it now and its running sweet. real happy with how it goes next to do is the exhaust. Me and my mate got some pics today. Still need to get a new bumper and chrome rear quarter window trim for passenger side.
