Looks pretty clean. Spray the garnish black, put the door molds back on and it should look pretty nice.

    Your kidding aren't you?

Those 2 mods alone make this car better than your run of the mil VL. Colour coded garnishes look top, especially on a silver car.

Top work mate, keep it up!.

They look filth if they are not a calais garnish or a black berlina garnish and 99% of VL owners would agree on that. And VL's look weird without door molds. The door molds make a VL what it is. But VK's look tuff without door molds. Its still a nice car, and if I owned it that it what i would be doing to it.

I am a VL Owner. Number 6 in fact. So i'm sure if anyone can say whats good on a VL, i can.

The only thing better than having no moulds, is having the 3 grooves smoothed over, for the bumpers and the doors. Looks a million times better.

Heres one of my previous VLs....

Sold it to a mate for 3000 (with a screwed diff)

He then decided to do a burnout the length of his street, had most of the street ring and complain, and it was defected.

He then sold it to another mate for 1000 i think. Going to be a dedicated track car now from what i remember the guy saying.

Yeah i hate the side moulds, hence why they're gone

    and

Nah (to calais front end) but only cos everyone who has a Berlina eventually does it.

To be honest, i miss the very plain interior of my SL

AND SH!T YES I LOVE THE BLACK GARNISH

Because i'm at school again this year im a bit short on the $$$, but by the end of the year (by Dec 2008) my plans are to have modified:

-interior: complete re-trim in black and silver w/buckets in front and custom boot set up

    -new wheels (18's?? 19's?? opinions??)

    -new exhaust

-lowered (not sure how low, any opinions??)

    by Dec 2009:

    -new tail shaft

    -new diff

    -new fuel system

    -new computer

    by Dec 2010:

-full working and engineered RB25/30DET set up w/intercooler etc. all plumbed in properly
    (rb30 block w/ rb25 head)

    - new gearbox

-and all the engine bay cleared up and painted

As you can see its a 3 year project, as i don't wanna be a typical 19 year old VL driver "OMG i need to get this finnished asap cos my god u leh so hektik" pfft... love VL's, always have, hate the name which goes with em
