]might sound silly but the button on the auto shifter obviously has a power/ economy button.
when button is clicked out and displays pwr that is power mode?
therefore when button is pressed in is that economy?
what does it really do if much at all?

wrong section m8, u want it to go in the vl section not my ride...
any way those pwr buttons do f**k all reli, of what ive herd they just hold the revs out a little longer, if im correct
thanks mate
thats sort of what i thought
and have found vl section
thanks for the time
cheers
any more info be helpful?
button in or out for power mode?
and is that all it does is hold the revs out longer?
Leave the button OUT when doing under 80kmph and push it in when doing over 80kmph. Driving with it in doing under 80kmph makes the tranny shift into higher gears doing lower revvs putting stress on the gearbox and worsening your fuel economy. Pretty sure Ive heard that it can severly damage your gearbox if you drive with the button in all the time.

100% true the button is actually used as a overdrive hence why its a four speed jatco and the console only shows d, 1, 2. pwr button is your fourth gear once your coasting over 80 klms.been thru plenty of boxes til i was actually told what it was for. since then not a drama.
the button on my shifter was broken when i bought the car, and the previous owner fitted a switch to control it instead. should the PWR light be on or off when over 80? when the origional button was in, was that when the PWR light would be on?
thanks
