yip its gunna be a nice lookin car when its done i was talkin about Bax's btw. The purple vl is nice too, i havnt seen other piks of it yet

well here's some more daz.

the paint is simply an acrylic black with a small ammount of purple pearl mixed through. just subtle enough so that you have to catch it in the right light or look twice to notice it, 2-pak clear. still needs a good buff though.


also attatched a sound file, just a quick one..............i love the sound of the new exhaust

wow that does sound good I wanted to do the exact same thing with my car but instead of purple i was gunna do dark blue or a yellow. Old mate said that yellow wouldnt work and the car would go a yuky baby poo brown color But i just decided to keep the blue and paint a different car if i get 1

depends on how much pearl you put in, too much and it over powers the base colour.
juts something subtle though might work

the white one was my first vl, 6cyl, man best car owned to date longest car owned to date before it was nicked and torched,
dark blue calais, rb20 turbo and manual conversion was a fun car to own,
light blue/green calais mock up bought as a to b car while calais was off the road

well the paint itself seriously doesn't cost that much, it's a basic gloss black acrillic with a little pearl mixed in. $130 for 4l, all you gotta do is find a mate who's a painter........

yeah, just a set of cheepie wildcat extractors and a 2.5inch sports sys. but for $350 complete i'm impressed

But its nice and boomy at 2200 rpm tho? mine is. Then it get quieter when it revs to 5200 rpm lol.

nah mine is quiet alll the time, well you can hear it but it doesnt sound any good grrrr
