Here is me VL taken on me phone so not a very good pic will get the camera out on the weekend and get a good one.. 19 inch wheels on it...![]()
I've attached a few pics of my puppy here....dunno if i've done it right tho. I stacked it just a week ago and i'm now driving round with a faded gold VL with a sky blue bonnet and an unsprayed grey bumper. I'm very ashamed...but its not worth a respray. Let me know what you think. Its got just under 400,000 kms on the clock with the origional interior.
why isn't it worth a respray? just get the bonnet and bumper done. or do it yourself, i've done the bootlid and fixed some dents on mine and no one knows i did it myself it came up that good
yeah but white an easier colour to match... i like that colour of yours flak
Love the wagon walesy. Thats shmick as. I'm dying for an 8. Cant stand turbo's. The reason I said it wasn't worth a respray 'Snake_VL' is because i've been quoted $1000 by nearly everyone for the job. My car is worth crap all, and the paint is in such poor nick (not evident in the photos), that gettin the front end redone would just look fair dinkum ridiculous. The only option is for me to sand it all back and try and do it myself...and with my limited knowlege/experiance/skill, I'm not lookin forward to it![]()
Btw snake, thats one hot ride. insane interior! would love to be able to do somethin like that...one day maybe.: up:
cheers flak... yeh snakes interior has inspired me to do a 2 tone dash... diferent colours though...proberly black and silver

thanks for the comments guys
thats fair enough then flak i spose you need to draw the line with how much you are willing to spend on a car and if its worth it. and i agree v8 is the way to go not turbo
I've got love for the V8s and the Turbo VLs. To me, if the cars done right, looks hot and has got balls.. doesn't matter if its got 8 cylinders or 6.

i prefer v8 because vlt sound boring during burnouts... i dont care weather they will beat an 8 or not...
Well I prefer not to do burnout in my VLT..lol

Steal my photo ya basterd :P
I would have a VLT over a VL 8 anyday of the week. Tho nothing can beat the sound of a old v8 gurgling off it's ass.
^ someone who isnt narrow minded for once![]()
i do not dislike turbo's and i really do like my NA 6, just saying that if i ever did get rid of the 6 i would replace it with an 8. but i've never driven a turbo before (only been a passenger) so that might change my mind if i do. **** it i've got 2 vl's i'll just have one of each![]()
