Heres some pics of my '87 SL Turbo








The car is powered by the Nissan RB30ET and makes over 300rwhp on 14psi, my mechanic is confident it will be safe up around the 20psi mark but i havent pushed it that high yet, Has been through 2 5spds so im in the process of building a tuff auto atm.

Heres my VL had it about 3 or so weeks.

Funny thing abut this Berlina is its completely stock. It has wind up windows, no rear window wiper, no center light in the roof, manual side mirrors and no stereo whatsoever.

1988 VL HSV GroupA SS 643 Walkinshaw - factory built without the body kit


I am lucky enough to own one of the rarest VL commodores made.

In 1988 HSV made a handful of Walkinshaws without the full body kit and with Calais lights and side skirts. The front and rear spoiler is from the HSV SV 88 of the time.

No more than 7 or 9 were made in this config at the factory, it wasn;t changed in any way by the Dealer.

Mechanically it is the same as a full kitted car. It has the GroupA brakes , suspension and the 4 bolt main 5.0 V8 with EFI and twin Throttle bodies.

I am the second owner and have known the car since the original owner purchased it new in 1988.

It is 100% original except for tyres and belts etc.

heres my new adition

chipped a piston due to a shit work shop tune.

motor out and should be on way to sydney for rebuild hope to have it back and in by october and ran in by december when i get lisc back yay.
