Cheers for the words of encouragement guys - i'm pretty happy with how the car is externally so now its the motor and driveline - the current turbo motor will be coming out in a few weeks so that the engine bay can get fully smoothed, painted and detailed etc

Well I've bitten the bullet and the car is now off the road until the bay is done and there is a new motor and driveline sitting where the old stuff was.
Going to get into it some more this weekend so I will try and post updates where I can

    Cheers dude, its appreciated

As for the strut brace, a mate of mine had a VK and had the brace on that but didnt want it, so he gave it to me for free. Bolted straight on no dramas.
If you were local u could have it, its off the car now anyways

Cheers guys - car is still at the panel shop so should be able to post some progress pics in the next couple of weeks.

Been able to organise some new brakes as well (330mm slotted 2 spots) so that should be an improvement over the crappy standard ones

    Cheers guys

Unfortunately no progress pics, half the engine bay is done so the other side just has to be sanded back and primed before the paint gets blown on. I told my panel/paint guy to not rush etc as I'm in no rush so hopefully by the end of January we might be closer to a result

Current idea I'm toying with, blue centres on the rims - just an idea at this stage

Yeah see the thing with these is that they are just covers on top of the chrome wheel, so I can basically chop and change as I want. Its hard trying to find something different that the usual FR19's or Sigs lol

    Thanks mate
As for the front spoiler with the small section for a badge on the front, I'm assuming thats the Formula one - well its in the bin. The way they were contructed they trap water really easily and the mounting points rust out and it goes out of shape due to its material of construction.

The new one is the LE unit and was picked up locally and just made to fit as it was a little rough. HDT still do them though

It would look pretty could with the blue centers but I reckon it needs to be lowered about an inch at the rear

Im not a fan of VL's at all, but this here is a GREAT looking car. The paint work looks exquisite. I dislike chrome rims, but I like the photoshop of the blue on the rims, looks way awesome.

    Cheers guys

Yeah been thinking about getting it a touch lower in the back end - take into account when the car is in gear and my heavy a$$ in it and it comes down a bit further

Yeah the more I look at it I like the blue wheels
