    Gave my car a good clean up and polish when i got it, came up preety good.
    im just trying to get it back to stock and clean.

    Is this rolling around on silver chasers with chopped springs in the back? Might of seeen it in belmont yesterday

    Naa its got vt berlina rims on it atm hopefully getting chasers soon. and its stock ride height atm.lol

    Your not being rude. lol i paid $750 for it and i have not had a problem with it. i think the guy didnt know wat it was worth.

    Good price. I sold my old shit heap VL for $400 with 3 months rego. Is there much rust in this one?

    Aye. its not shit but. it was just out of rego and i got it regod straight away. and there is only a bit of rust in the boot seal tht we are cuttin out and 2 spots under the window seal. the guy was jus a douche lol

    Those 2 spots under the window seal are probably a lot worse than you think. If you can best to do both front and rear windows. Trust me it is worth it.

    Yea i stuck me finger underneath it and the rust has gooone all the way thru. I was getting it resprayed sometime in the near future. so wen the windows come out for tht i will get at it. or get a pro to do it.

    I had a go at getting the rust out this arvo with the dremel and got bout 90% of it. and cleaned it all up. I just gotta weld and spray it with undercoat now.

    good luck with that mate... took me forever to do mine, and when you do ur constantly cleaning it... id suggest you get a spare one from a wreckers, would be much easier than trying to do it with the cover on the engine

    good start with the vl though ( i assume this is your first car??) im a huge fan of vls and would buy another one any day (just coz 7 is a better number than the 6 ive had )

    the rust in the front and rear windows are a big problem... my calais looked pretty bad and wasnt untill i replaced the windscreen that i realised just how bad it was underneath...

    Nice VL mate. Should look good lowered with interceptors.

    I'm 16 too, but mines a WB 1 Tonner. Check it out in the Misc. section if you like.

    Looks like you got a real good price. I saw one similar to this (not as good condition I don't think, bit rough) for 650. So you def got a good deal there.

    Thanks i wasnt going to do it all on the engine i thought i may aswell try it whill i got the tools out and it turned up alright, so im takin the cover off next week to finish it off.

    my old vl had like 425xxx kms... still went good
    Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

    Thats alot of Ks our old 60series cruiser had like 450 *** and it was still going strong.
    aye i will keep this motor in it. and once we get our shed built im getting a second rb30 to rebuild.

    Attacked the rust today. got rid of it all and it came up preety good.

    sweet as man i got my pioneer cd/mp3 playa in and couples of speakers in back on friday iget my 2 subys and amp put in =]
