my mates got a vp ss thats had a little bit of work done to it apparently "7 grand"
anyway, hes offerin 5 grand for it, is this an alright deal, im not sure on the prices for vp's
hes a dodgy guy so maybe if its too cheap theres somethin up.
umm i would have thought the opposite. to dear.
there was a vs hsv 355 stroker on ebay last week for 6k.
ohh ok, cheers for that
you driven a vp 5ltr or a 5ltr similar?
it says that they are 165kw or somethin on redbook and my vt is 142ish kw which is a v6, and i thought to myself that its not that much difference in power..
or is it very noticable comparison when driven?
the power curve is totally different, 304 will have a lot more power down low. plus it's not hard to get that 165kw up to at least 190kw with a couple of cheap mods.
my advice - don't buy a car without reg/roadworthy. that's what i did, thought it was awesome getting a hsv enhanced calais for $4500, then had to put in almost $1500 for a roadworthy. never saw that one coming.
5000 is an average price for a vp ss these days.
i bought my car without rego/roady. if theres anything wrong with it, and can do work yourself, its not that big of a deal unless its something major.

5 grand is a normal price for a VP SS, not cheap not dear, just about right and like the other guys said a few hundred spent on a stocker makes them muuuuch faster than a VT V6
ah cheers guys, so how much do these memcals go for?
that sounds mad
what sorta memcals go for the ecotec v6s, does that put em up much more?
