Wow, loaded question...
Lol, auto/manual?
Standard? Stock? Power Output?
As mine is manual and stock, i will hold it at around 1800-2k and then drop the clutch.. and less and it bogs down and any more and itll just spint he wheels.. My clutch is H/D So it tends to be on/off a lot in terms of getting it right...
The launch is always dependant of the cars power levels and trans setup...
aZk.
3000rpm, then give it 3/4 clutch and 3/4 gas. A second or two into the wheelspin, let the clutch out and floor it.

im and auto so i tend to bring my revs up to around 2500 and slam it do the ground wile taking the brake off at green but it depends on the track surface and weather eg if its hot and the track is sticky then bring on the revs if its cold be prepared to lose some traction at the take off as a result and lower the revs accordingly

well your in the same boat as me like i said it depends how the day is cold hot sticky i found best results in doing what i said above at my local strip but im sure to let some big number v8s go first to warm up the 1st section of the strip
its hard to say what to do unless you are there on the day just go to a test and tune and have fun try a few diffrent ways to launch and you will soon find the sweet spot for you

also note that you have irs if i tried that in my wagon i'd skipping out sideways andeasily breaking into wheelspin (gotta love 14's)

I cant launch my VN V6 supercharged at all, (manual), all i can do is ease it off the clutch and then give it abit, but if i just floor it and let the clutch out to quick it will bad em up, i tried it at different RPM same thing, it will bounce kinda like a front wheel drive when you dump the clutch for a burnout, is that axle tramp?, its also mini-spooled. the tires have been from 14s 195, 15s 215 highway max and 235 40 R18s.

There is no variables, foot on brake as hard as possible highway max tyres on the back, Foot on the accelerator untill the body starts to creak and groan then floor it and let go of the brake at the same time. NO bolt on V6 auto with a stock stall will spin 2 highway maxes (impossible and I highly doubt any could spin just one). Remove coins/phones etc from the back seat area once you get home
how do i solve it?

Fix the bushes in the trailing arms usually, or the car might be too low at the back and that's stuffing up the pinion angle etc
bushes have been replaced only the sway bar bushes are abit worn, it is low at the back and needs to comp up, its at the top of the rim on 18s

You must be running wheelbarrow tyres on that thing?. My old V6 would run 7.0 everytime to 60 mph and never got wheelspin in the dry in it's life. Untill my 5 litre got under 6.3ish to 60 mph it couldn't spin em either, how anyone can get wheelspin in a car that can't go under 8 seconds has me beat and I wouldn't like to be driving on those tyres in the rain :S. For reference my VP can get to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds in heavy rain
i dunno bout u but after my foamy tune i cant take off half throttle without spinning them up
I think the roads out your way are really groovy, grippy ashphalt. Here in the city, all the roads are worn smooth by constant traffic - leaving much less "bits" for the tread to grip into. Some of the roads out here are like trying to get traction on carpark concrete.

Foamy had the right idea.
To get me vp or my ex's to go i stand on the brake real hard, pull it back to first gear and rev the guts outa it.
Then for launch i realease the brake fast and hit the go pedal all in one action.
My vp will spin 1 wheel on take off if i go a little to far.
I give it another couple hundred revs past the creaking, I'm big enough to hold the pedal down.
Greenfoam can you please email me about getting a couple tunes?

if you are rolling on low profiles it doesnt help either higher sidewalls on tyres create better grip
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
