dent in my sump?

my sump is dented, 3.8 V6, 89 vn commodore, theres no flat spot its all dented in about 2 cm, like someones hit somthing dam big!

the car runs like a dream and goes like hell, and doesent leak or use oil at all, should i worry about it?

i wouldnt worry about it if its not causing problems. Is it lowered? Maybe you (or somebody else) accelerated and braked (forcing the front of the car to bang downwards) onto a pile of dirty / gravel ??

or some retarded caveman mechanic hit it with a stone axe a few times trying to service it!

Bah, im 90% sure all Vn/Vp sumps are dented!

its very low at the front and has been off road a couple times, previous owner rallyed it occasionally
