Hey guys. i have a 1990 vn 5 litre manual
here is my problem:

as soon as my car warms up my engine light comes on and off intermittently.
when it is on my car loses power and feels like it is pushing really hard to go anywhere like im towing a caravan or something, it also wont idle, it just starts hunting then stalls, backfires really bad and wont rev over 3500rpm.

also does anyone know what plug my car would have to fit a scan tool to???
i.e. obd1/2 can bus???

any help or ideas would be great as not too many ppl in bathurst seem to have any idea about anything.

you just need a paper clip to get the error codes theres a how to check error codes VN-VP thread on here

it was fuel regulator, one vacuum line comes off and causes all that greif
