Default Clutch staying pressed in / sticking

    Hey all,

Got a new cushion button clutch in my vn v8 a few weeks ago.

Everything is good with it, really light pedal and it grips well and i made sure for the first 600kms i took it easy on it.

Now that it is all bedded in, I tried a few 0-100 runs a couple of times and a few times when I have snapped 2nd really quickly, it gets into 2nd gear but the pedal is staying completely depressed. i.e, the pedal is sitting pushed in on the floor. and it stays there for a split second then pops back out. mean while, i've burried the other foot on the throttle and its just bouncing off the rev limiter .

I don't know much at all about clutches, but my first thought was something to do with the clutch cable. Spoke to the place who did the work, and they said its unlikely to be a problem with the cable and that they would have to have a look at it to try find out whats happening.

    Any ideas?

I know your exact problem, something isn't working.....

Take it back to where you had it fitted for them to look at it.
