Vr 5ltr Engine into a Vn ?

Hey Guys,

I have a Vr 5ltr and auto complete. Im looking at placing it into a Vn.

Is there much needed for this change over? Straight swap?

I have been told im looking at alot of $$$$ but i dont see how? Any help would be great.

you'll need a brake upgrade, computer's the same but i think the chip needs swapping. some say the front suspension needs swapping out. exhaust and fuel pumps too.

I dont know if the computer is the same.
You need the PCM from the VR to control the transmission. Also the wiring loom will need to replaced or modded to suit.

Yeah well it is a Bt1 engine, so it has the computer with the engine. I have an auto elec working on the loom for me. 8 k frames are also in ready to go.

Hopefully there is no MAJOR things !! lol

shouldnt take much the worst thing is needing the BCM wired in or a chip done to turn off the security so you dont need the BCM.chip is the easiest option
