Default VN series 1 man. with blown engine

    Hi all.

I'm buying a cheapy VN Series one manual wagon in the next few days. here is my dillema.

The car is complete except for an engine that has shat itself. As i understand, my only option is to fit another VN s1 manual engine because of the difference in crank.. correct? OR i could grab me a VR engine, but i will then need to buy a 8 bolt fly, and change radiator/ hoses etc? Now, am i correct in this current knowledge?

is there anything else i should know?

    cheers for any help

Yep you will need the later engine and the flywheel. You can do a azzfox and get an auto motor and special flywheel adaptor thing that you can bolt your flex plate to
