I'm wanting to remove my s1 manifold and convert to a s2 manifold i have both at the moment and just want to know a definate what has to be done to fit use it? I have searched this topic and did find 'some' info but not a whole lot...
need a different radiator, different surge tank and a two pipe heater tap
you can just use the vn PCV setup still

There's a guy selling a custom twin throttle body manifold for like $500 on Ebay.
Ready to fit straight into a VN S1. If you r interested in a bit more go
Nah i have a sc14 ready to go and the throttlebody will be before the blower so no use.
okay no worries
And what impovements is there in a series 2 manifold besides the forward facing radiator inlet?
there is less hot water channels under it from looking at the pics immortality has so it might run a little colder and may have minimal flow gains apart from that its the same part

aye less bits and easier to change that damned thermostat
i dont think theirs relay any gain from changing them i looked into it seeing i have the s1 vn now and have all the s2 spares they flow the same but as said they might run a touch cooler not sure
i wont tolerate cretins aiming to cause problems here at jc and nor will i hesitate to let the moderators know

I think you have to drill holes in the heads as well to match up the water flow
the only hole needed is the PCV valve hole in the drivers side head if you want to use S2 pvc valve setup which is inside the manifold unlike vn s1 setup

fair enough....I thought it was for the water flow....was going to do the samething meself a while back, but figgered, how often do u need to change the thermostat anyway....and while u have the throttle body off u can give it a good clean
