sure is .... get yourself down to a wreckers and ask them for a series two inhibitor cone ... its a small plastic coneshaped doodad that sits before your manifold ..

its a redisgn on the series two to get better airflow to all the cylinders or some hoorah llike that to even out the idle.

it'll also kill a few kw of power in the process according to some people

EDIT: Just remembered the actual name of the part!
    its a BELLMOUTH

u bring up a good point there .... are u sure you just havent dropped a cylinder? check you've got spark to all 6 and make sure your plugs are nice n clean.. my v6 turned itself into a v5 a while back and the only thing that gave it away was sh*tty idling.. not even a noticeable power drop.

turned out i forgot to change 1 spark plug during a service and it had crapped out on me! lol

The idle is not adjustable on Vn's so i dont know what you adjusted but it certainly wasnt the idle.

You probably adjusted the base idle screw.

To set the base idle screw you need to pull off the flexable intake pipe from the throttle body so you can see the butterfly. Start the engine up and put your finger over the IAC valves little intake (its an oval shaped hole on the dashboard side of the throttle body) If the engine stalls out then your base idle is set too low. If the engine keeps idling well then the base idle is set too high. The idea is to get it so the engine just keeps running. I did this by holding the throttle open with one hand to keep her running, blocking the hole with the other and getting a friend to turn the base idle set screw. I would then gentle let go of the throttle and see if it was gonna stall.

This probably isnt your problem, but an incorrectly set base idle attributes to engines stalling out when you decellerate abruptly!
