    Get a bigger hammer.

I had the same problem once. Tried soaking it in WD40 overnight, bashing it with a mallet, lightly levering it.etc. Took me many hours of trying to get the bastard off. Ended up getting so frustrated I grabbed a long socket extension and levered the crap out of it without caring about damage. It made a loud *crack* and fell off with no damage done luckily. Rust is a bitch.
