    Default taking bonnet off

i thought i'd take the bonnet off my vp so i can work on stuff easier and also it'll give me the opportunity to take off the guards and maybe tuck some wiring. only thing is i've heard people having problems aligning it again afterwards. what's the best way to take it off. like is there a way that won't need heaps of aligning after and will just bolt in the same way it came off. or is it a necessary evil

just mark with a perminant marker where the bonnet is now, try your best to align it again to those marks.. not alot you can do..

the best way is to take just the center bolt out on the hinge then you have no need to realign as it has a loctor in it the adjustment is bolts on the bonnet and the body

I've taken mine of and on a few times and as long as you tighten each side a little bit at a time when you are putting it back on it will be aligned.

So tighten one side a bit go to the other and do same thing then back and forth until its all done and you won't have any problems.

Make sure the paint has lined up to where it was before and you should be right.
