After replacing my front pads on the weekend, I discovered that the noise I was hearing was actually my front wheel bearings.
Its gotten to the point now where it is a constant whine, which can sometimes be felt through the sterring wheel.

What I need to know is the instructions on how to replace the wheel bearings. What should I be expecting to pay for new bearings and good grease?

how is the condition of the discs are? if they are near due for replacement buy new disc and bearing kit and install the disc.
But if the disc is in good condition.
Use a chisel (Brick chisel works best) to tap the outer bearing out out of the hub. Clean the hub then tap in the new outer bearing with a large socket or a large pipe. Pack the bearings and the hub and put disc back on the car.

I hope that helps.
Goto the library and photo copy the commodore manual.
