so im looking at a new chip / memcal for my vn calais . had a code 51 . and a guy has a memcal i got buy whick is fine but he said he could give me a complete cpu for 30 bucks extra . what is the differece??

The memcal chip is the chip inside the cpu. I think what he means is hell sell you the hole engine control module (cpu)
