vn calais, changing paint + rims suggestions??

i've found somebody who will let me spray my car at his shop, EVERYTHING i need to do it, except i'll be supplying my own paint, just want suggestions on what colour i should paint it, its a vn calais, lowered a little, 2.5" exhaust tip which is currently a little rusted since before i got it, gonna give it a clean get it shiny again lol. and also what wheels would look nice.

im thinkin about orange with black hood/boot, or maybe yellow with the black hood/boot, not taxi yellow, vn bt1 kinda yellow.. but open for anything, as for wheels im thinkin about centrelines, found a nice set, gonna set me back a bit but i dont mind, i'd like some wide tires on the back, whats the legal limit in vic?

I reckon custom colours normally only look good when done with a body kit, but sometimes they can look wicked if done properly. Thats just my opinion, but.

well im spraying my vp turismo blue im a fan of the newer commodore colours on older commodores and plz dnt do bonnet/boot black itl look hideously riced up

yeah i just want something different, i was thinkin that for orange (As theres already a wicked orange one goin round.. dont wanna look the same) maybe.. purple? or... black? or.. or... maybe something custom as.. like.. something.. like custommmmmm asss. sound good ay? lol jks.. dunno, not sure:/

go with a calais two tone (not black boot bonnet) and go find a nice new commodore colour u like and get back to us wif colour n we will talk rims lol

Hit it with some metallic black and get some finer details chromed. Get a light tinting to the tail lights to blend them in a bit. You could also try what my mate did. He owns a few harleys davidsons, he fixes them up and collects, hes up to six. on one of them he did a metallic very pale yellow.. near white then did a very fine mist with some sky blue.... looks bloody brilliant when it hits the sun. i think theres a special technique to getting this effect though, like its a directional paint thing. either way, f***ing brilliant.
