Hi guys,
Had a quick search and found out DexronIII auto fluid is the way to go for my T5 gearbox, but is it meant to be the fully synthetic type or just the non synthetic (mineral?) fluid?
personally i wouldnt use dex3 in a pre vr t5, do a search on here and sc i cbf typing lol
Hmmm I wonder about maybe putting in half gear oil and half auto fluid plus the lubrizol additive as well?..
Mixing oils, especially synthetic and mineral, is a big no-no.

Use whatever Holden specify for the gearbox.

I'll second that. Specifically designed for boxes requiring DXIII.
