I recently put in a set of kings springs that came out of another VS super 6 statesman into mine ,(they dont have a part number ) However they barely made any difference to the height at all maybe a 15mm but they dropped the other statesman by an inch and half or more.
I put this down to my nolethane strut tops make it sit higher ,Now I was wondering how to drop the back down by about an inch ? as the rear sits higher and it already has a set of lovell springs in the (again no part number)
I was told you can do this by removing the spring insulator but I not keen on this idea or would it be better to get a set of super low rear king springs to match the front?
Here a picture of the fronts just in case anyone reconizes them
What was in yours originally? Were they FE2's?
Not sure ,I cant seem to find the tag with the info on it , Does a Vs have one? anyway the part number of the original springs are XZ 92026871 if thats any help
That part number is standard height. Sorry, can't help you as to why the replacement springs lowered the other car more than yours. Every car is different though, maybe give it a week or so and see if it settles.
Yer I just found the plate hiding behind the strut brace and your rigth its stamped standard suspension
Does anyone in the Brizzy/sunshinecoast/goldcoast/ area have a set of IRS super king springs for sale?
If you do give a me a price and a part number
