Which trans fluid?

Hey guys, im heading out tonight and on the list is a transmission service kit. But i dont know which gearbox oil i should use when re-filling? Can some one reccoment the best type to use, VP V6 auto, i dont really like going on the advice from repco, after all, they dont drive a VP do they

pretty sure all dex 3 is the same. im just running peps fluid in mine.

btw don't get the service kit in a box. the gasket isnt flat and will make it a **** of a job to get the pan back on.

what do you mean by in the box? this is the one i bought from Repco.

you got the right type.

there is one that is in a box. and to fit the seal in the box they have to fold it up and once its sat in the box for a while. it doesnt like being flat again.
