G'day, is it possible to use the Auto flexplate bolts into the manual flywheel, i put locktite on them all and they spun it a bit before they were finger tight then a turn or so with the torque wrench before they were actually starting to torque then a little bit more before they were torqued. Will this be ok ?

Auto flexplate bolts are shorter than manual flywheel bolts, they will only be in a couple of threads....Not ideal, thats for sure.
Pretty sure they are single-use bolts anyway, and shouldn't be re-torqued?
If there was any place I wouldn't want to risk using dodgy bolts, it would be the flywheel![]()

yep. go to holden and get them. they come pre-loctited too. they are around $4-5 for each bolt.

You'll pay around $40 from holden. Go to a specialist dealer like SpeedPro (or any other ARP dealer) and get an ARP flywheel bolt set for abot $25.
Glad you've decided to do the sensible thing, though. Last thing you want is the flywheel coming off at 5000rpm and amputating your feet![]()
