Broken heater!!!

hey i was just wondering how hard it is to get the heater box out of a vn and how to do it. i broke my heater by accidently breaking off the little bit that sticks out of the heater bos that the temp selector connects to. i HATE driving around in the cold. if anyone knows how to get the heater box out and open it to fix it up i would apreciate it. maybe if one of ya could come up to my olace and help me fix it for a reward. thanks

hey mate i just had this same problem i think with my vn an i fixed it on the weekend with bout 2 mins work. if u mean u just broke the lil bracket an clip that is on the white arm on the side of the heaterbox.all i done was shut the heater flap an turned the dial to cold then put the metal rod on the white arm off the heater box an used 2 small zip ties to connect it an a lil bit of silcone just 2 b sure, now it works perfect no more shivering on the way to work

hey thanks for the help but the flap inside the heater box is jammed thats how the small piece broke off the side (me trying to get it to work with pliers). but thanks anyway
