    Default aftermarket gauge wiring.

    hey guys,

    i dont have any diagrams so im just wondering what colour wire do i splice into for the illumination for the gauge. there are four wires on the plug for the H/light switch. which colour should i be using?

    brown, or depending where you mount it, could be easier to tap off the illumination for the ciggie lighter.
    Power is measured in DECIBEL

  3. Default

    this should help you:

    Accesories - Yellow
    Constant - Orange/White
    Illumination - Brown/White
    Earth - Black/White
    12V OUTPUT - Yellow/Red

    so depends on when you want it lit up, with the lights on (illumination) or all the time running (acc in that case)
