    hey guys.
    i got a VP SS BT1 5ltr and was wondering if ya can put a cold air induction on it? have been told ya cant due to the bonnet comeing down 2 far or sumthing but coulda swarn i'v seen them fitted before.

    anyone have any info on this?

    A cold air induction? You mean like any old cold air intake? You can fit one of a million different types - or for bonus points, make one yourself!

    *some* don't fit, for example the one i have on my car. nothing a bit of cutting wont fix (and i got mine pre cut, thanks tim ).

    excuse my engine resembling a bears asshole...

    or make one like mine, make sure you use a washable filter though!



    you get the idea. $7 for hose, a hose clamp, and some other random bits and pieces and you're done.

    instead of cutting it u can use a heat gun. U heat up the corner and use a block of wood or something similar and push the corner down. It looks beta than a cut corner
    Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad

    cheers guys, i knew i had seen them fitted before but all the wrekers n stuff kept saying they didnt, now i know i wont be wasten my money to buy 1
