    Default Heater/AC direction

Have a small issue with the VN. When driving, there is cold air coming from the blower unit behind the glove box. With the directional switch in every position bar the recirculate, the little dome cover thingo is down, put it on recirculate and it flips up, but cold air comes through that unit regardless of where the heat setting is. Is there a flap somewhere else that isn't closed? I have had a bit of a look at it and have found some putty looking stuff jammed in the flap stopping it from coming down all the way, I removed it and it closed just about all the way now but cold air still comes in.

No vacuum leak. I didn't take any off. All I did was remove the flap thing and get rid the crap and put it back on. Cold air was coming through before I touched it.

Maybe you popped a vacc line off one of the valve controls. If I remember there is one up above it and one on the left off the heaterbox. The one up above it controls the air mix flap I think. It's either that or the controls but it's funny how all of a sudden it's happened since you cleaned it out.
