Hi I am new here, did a search couldn't find a solution to my problem.

I have a VP Calais, missus was driving yesterday and said dash and stereo cut out. I tested and found it was the parkers, tail lights, dash backlight, cruise control, overspeed, gearstick lights (auto), and stereo but the backlights for my LCD panel for my odo etc in the dash work but not the numbers, I also have brake lights, high beam and lowbeam, demister function, indicators, light for cruise control windscreen wipers and all other dash functions so I don't think it's that. Also tested to see if I turned them on if it would short out the car, shutting down all electronics and stalling the car, it didn't.

I was thinking that this is all related to my parkers as when you turn them on all this stuff lights up, except of course for the numbers on my LCD, and my stereo.

Am praying its just the fuse or relay to my parkers but checked the ones under the bonnet and they are fine am going to check the ones under the dash when the car gets back, and the inline fuse for the stereo, (I don't think and auto electrician would load that onto the same power source as all this but you never know). I was just hoping someone else could shed some light on the situation.
