    Default vn dash globes

my dash globes are dying and im wondering where i can get a set, from expect from ebay. what type of globes are they? could i get them from tandy ect? also, globes in the climate control/ centre dash are have all died include the auto gear box globe.

if i cant find any, i guess ill buy a set off ebay and live without the rest.

any tricks in removing the dash and changing the globes?
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.

There might a be short in your illumination wiring check the fuse under the steering wheel or if they have slowly been dying then it might be time to update.

The dash ones are the twist in type you can either buy them with or without the plastic mounts or just use your original mounts and swap the globes over.

The gear selector and climate control lights by memory are push in ones the same as above just without the twist in plastic mount thing
Gear Selector And Climate Control Globes Same As Above Just With No Mounts

Hope this helps i use these leds and so far no problems.

The dash lights behind the gauges are a t10 bulb, I have blue LEDs in mine. If you have a level 3 cluster the Liquid Crystal Screens are either t4 or t5 (I forget) and the climate control and dash surround are the same, the standard bulbs would be available at most electrical stores, autobahn ect. which will also have LEDs or try your local Holden dealer. But if all lights are out I would be looking for another problem like a short or something.

a few dash globes are dead and the globes in the centre dash slowly died over time, cant remember when. i doubt there's electrical problems however i will look into it when changing the globes.

as much as some hate it, ill get a set of blue leds but it ll be the only blue leds in the car.
