hey all im new to this site and ive been rifling through the forums trying to find an answer to my questions so far no luck hence the post. i own a vp series 2 calais and im in the process of puttin some of the newer more comfortable oem pieces into it so far ive bought a vs statesman dash and loom ($1 on ebay), series 3 centre console and lid with the cup holders now exposed i have all the caprice roof lining parts (rear mirrors, radio controls, roof speakers, sunvisors with the lights for them etc etc) my question is will the vr/vs roofling fit into the vp? i also have just about all the buttons working in the statesman dash inc. the headlights, clock, hazards, wipers except for the security light, rear demister and cruise control if anyone knows which wires go where for them it would be greatly appreciated cheers
ne one?? no one???
rooflining will fit sorry about the rest??? i duno
WRONG. The statesman roof linings are longer than the sedans.
You can easily trim them down tho (put your sedan lining over the top of the stato trim, and mark where to cut. Measure twice, cut once)
I'm doing this with a VQ lining as i want the roof clock and it would be too much head**** grafting it into my current lining.

They have a plastic trim that runs around the edges that holds the lining up, so even if you put one in your car there will be a few CM gap on each side due to it being shorter.
Better solution is to re-trim your own one
