v6 level3 into a v8?

i've got a v6 with a level 3, but gathering everything up to do a v8 conversion.
88greenvn (props) said that the tacho and temp gauge need to be changed to work as a v8 cluster.
what specifically do i need to do for this (i know i could pm him, but i thought i'd put the info out for anyone else as well)
will ihave to pull these 2 gauges from a v8 cluster. or is it something like changing a jumper on a pcb?

meh i have a v6 level 3 dash in my ss and temp gauge reads fine... tacho is slightly out but i couldnt care less... its only a couple hundred revs... barely noticable

I'll be converting the stack of V6 tacho's to V8 units over the next few weeks.

As for the temp gauge the V6 unit will work no probs - it will just be out a smidge that's all.

Is the S/C 6 dash the same as N/A 6 dash My speedo drops out all the time and i can get a second handy for free at the moment?

Should be the same - but it could be the speed sensor as well.

The speedo it's self will be the same
