Default VP Radiator Support - Removal

Im going to begin soon, the process of removing almost complete front end panels off a VP. Anyone know what it takes to remove the Rad Support from a VP Calais?

probably about 6 bolts, and obviously everything that bolts to it, once you try it you'll see what I mean it kind of explains itself when your doing it. start with bumper and guards headlights/indicators, then start removing radiator and such attachments.

Radiator supports are spot welded in so drill out the spot welds and use a chisel for any spots you get stuck on.

why do you need to taake the rad support off?
    have you pranged yiour car?

cos thats the only time a rad support needs to be replaced, when its too badly damaged to be repaired.

Be warned, the new rad support usually wont go back in. The subframe will have to be pulled back into shape, guaranteed.

yeah mate more often than not, if the radiator support is damaged, theres a good chance there will be rail damage. and yes, they will be spot welded on. good luck mate!
