    Default VN L3 cluster calibrations

Just fitted a L3 cluster into my VN exec. After a bit of stuffing around, everything seems to be working except for a couple of weird things.

    - Temp guage does move, but barely gets off cold? i have changed the engine sensor for the dash already

    - Also My DTE reading is just rediculous! just a bit under half a tank of juice, and its telling me i have 410km to empty? NO WAY!

How do i calibrate these correctly? or is there a link that can help me?

    cheers

Odd, I'm interested in whether there's a difference between temp gauge calibration for L2 and L3 clusters also.

DTE calculates on the last 20seconds of driving or something like that.. don't quote me on that though, speak to the master: 88greenVN on this forum.

VN Trip computers recalc DTE every 2 mins. When you plug it in for the first time - it will take a few days to reset itself to your car. Check the factory calibration setting - 625 for flow and distance.

Temp gauge would probably be the voltage regulator - link

Look at all the solder joints....

    Hey,
I'm not actually getting a reading at all from the DTE, also my speed alert light comes on at about oh idk, 0km/h no beep though just the warning, would that contribute to the problem?

Do you have a chime in the cluster? Dose the instant fuel - avg fuel work?
