[VP] putting clutch grommet back in

So in the process of feeding 4AWG power cable through the clutch grommet in my auto VP, the grommet came out/off.

Being in the location that it is, it seems fairly hard to get access to to put it back in.

Do I need to put it back in (I assume I do)? If someone has directions on how to get it back in, it would be most appreciated.

Just carefully use a flathead screwdriver with enough reach to persuade it back into the hole, takes about half a minute!
