VP, V6 replacing alternator, Please Help

G'day, Just hoping someone can help me out.

Have to replace my alternator (VP, V6) & hope someone can give me a step by step instructions or show me where some are.

1. disconnect the battery.
2. take the belt off by getting a 17mm(pretty sure its 17mm) ring spanner.
3. there is a plug on the top of the alternator. get a flat blade screwdriver and pop the little silver clip out and the plug comes off. dont lose the sliver clip as you need it to hold the plug on.
4. undo the power wire on the back of the alternator. mine was 13mm. yours should be the same.
5. the alternator is ready come out. undo the two bolts 10mm and 13mm and it will come straight out.
6. fitting is the reverse.

Just a note, you don't need to pop those clips out off the plugs with a screwdriver. Just press it in and pull the plug off.
